Country Sales Manager – France
The Purpose
Lead the end-to-end launch and management of Fracttal's commercial operations in France: establish the legal subsidiary, build and lead a high-performing sales team, and drive sustainable revenue growth, ensuring sales targets set by the organization are met or exceeded.
As Country Sales Manager for France, you will be the founding commercial leader of Fracttal's presence in the country — combining hands-on market-entry execution with full ownership of the local sales strategy, team, budget, and performance, working closely with the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Team Building & Leadership
Design the sales team structure and lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding of local hires, building the team from the ground up.
Coordinate and lead the sales team at a strategic level, working closely with the CSO and the Sales Operations Manager to reach goals.
Set goals, quotas, and objectives for the team, and continuously track their achievement.
Mentor and coach team members, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a high-performance culture through motivation, training, and support.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the French market, expanding the client base and building effective sales channels.
Plan monthly strategies together with the CSO to contribute to team goal achievement.
Develop accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets, adjusting as needed.
Drive and manage outbound lead-generation strategies.
Lead projects and bids/tenders for key accounts.
Work closely with the Sales Excellence team to sell materials and documentation up to date and with a world class standard.
Client Relationships & Customer Success
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Lead strategy development together with Customer Success to ensure the growth of existing accounts in French territory.
Budget & Reporting
Efficiently manage the France sales budget.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team, highlighting KPIs and progress toward sales targets.
Ensure quarterly achievement of goals and KPIs set by the sales area.
Collaboration & Operational Alignment
Work closely with Marketing to drive lead-generation initiatives and campaigns.
Coordinate and continuously oversee all people involved in commercial projects, from Marketing to Sales, Customer Success, and other leadership-driven initiatives.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance for billing, account activation, and subsidiary operations.
Continuously identify and resolve obstacles in project phases and commercial negotiations.
Collaborate on and respond to requests related to the company's broader commercial sales strategy.
What We're Looking For 🧩
Experience
3+ years of experience leading and managing SaaS sales teams in international environments, ideally with exposure to the European market.
Prior experience opening a subsidiary, launching a new market, or building a team from scratch is highly valued.
Proven experience developing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and meet SaaS company targets.
Experience working with CRM platforms and other sales tools in a B2B environment.
Skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with an entrepreneurial mindset suited to a market-entry phase.
Deep knowledge of sales strategies, commercial processes, and negotiation techniques.
Ability to analyze sales data and metrics to make informed decisions and adjust strategy as needed.
Coaching focused leadership enables the team to grow through precise feedback and guidance.
Familiarity with French labor law and hiring practices, or the ability to work closely with legal/HR partners on these matters.
Strong collaboration across cross-functional and international teams.
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Commercial/Civil/Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Languages
Advanced English (required).
Fluent French (required).
Preferred Qualifications 🎖️
Experience launching a subsidiary or new legal entity in Europe.
Experience in enterprise SaaS sales.
Certifications in commercial strategy or sales leadership.
Local network of sales talent and/or recruiting agencies in France.
